Houston was a blast

Sorry it has taken me a week to get around to letting you know what happened at Energize08 in Houston.  There has been so much going on in Zurvita that it is hard to wrap my mind around it all.

We had a great three days and learned all about the new products available for us to offer to the public. We had trmendous presentations from the MXEnergy people who did a great job explaining the do’s and dont’s of marketing residential energy.

We also got to see for the first time some very slick videos about the products and the comp plan.  I will share one of them at the end of this post.  These are high quality productions that clearly lay out the tremendous opportunity afforded Zurvita reps. 

I would expect that all the nay-sayers and pooh-poohers are in hiding right now.  I can’t tell you how many people told me either in person or via the NET that Zurvita was really nothing special and would not last. I don’t hear that any more.

On a personal note, I got to meet a lot of people in person for the first time – people I have had an online relationship with for many years.  It was good to finally put a face on the email address.  And, the word of mouth on Mailbox Studio had made the rounds. I had people at the conference and even on the plane ask me about Internet Marketing using Mailbox Studio.  I have already received several orders from new and former customers.

One of the most interesting non-Zurvita things that happened is that we shared the hotel with a Hip-Hop convention – some HBO special was being taped at the Hilton.  I never saw so much bling in my life and it seemed there was 1 cop for evey 2 rappers in the lobby.  This was culture shock for a lot of Zurvita reps, I can tell you.
