Ok, clean up is done…
Sorry it has been nearly a week since my last post, but as you can imagine, things have been hectic around here. We finally got the kids back in their own house, cleaned up the soot and smoke damage, got the fence repaired.
It rained a bit today. First time in months, and with the much higher humidity, the fire risk has gone down a bit. So we are all sleeping better, instead of with one eye, one ear and one nostril open. I got back on my CPAP as I was afraid to use it cause it makes some white noise that masks out other sounds – like sirens or crackling of flames!
